Flow Yoga - Downtown YMCA

Suitable for All Experience Levels

A medium to fast paced class, good for the student who wants more activity than a gentle class. Focusing on matching breath with movement where we move with our breath from one pose to the next. Focusing on our breath while moving through our practice allows us to stay mentally and physically present on our mats while releasing tension, building internal heat, and building our strength. Students need to be able to get up and down off the floor repeatedly throughout the class.

Healthy Living Yoga - Sand Springs

Suitable for All Experience Levels - Beginner Friendly!

This is a slow to medium paced class with a focus on correct alignment and creating good posture habits. I encourage the use of straps and blocks in this class to support proper alignment, and allow you to stay pain-free in each pose! You will need to move up and down off the floor, but only a few times, during this class. This is an ideal yoga class for most moderately-active adults. Learning to focus on deep, yoga breathing, and how to match breath with movement where we move with our breath from one pose to the next. Focusing on our breath while moving through our practice allows us to stay mentally and physically present on our mats while releasing tension, building internal heat, and building our strength.

A slower class with a more relaxed pace. This class focuses on deep breathing to facilitate relaxation, and correct alignment. Learn to use props such as blocks, and straps to support proper alignment, while finding comfort in each pose. You will need to move up and down off the floor, but only a few times, during this class. This is an ideal yoga class for most people.

Chair Yoga - Sand Springs

Suitable for All Experience Levels

I believe that yoga is for every body. A chair class is one that is accessible for everyone and anyone. This class utilizes a chair for added support and balance, so that you can focus on the stretch! A perfect class for seniors or anyone with a limited range of motion, balance concerns, those recovering from injury, or those who just don't want to get up and down off the floor.

Cost is $10 or $5 for those 65+
