This is your update about class passes, the holiday break, upcoming classes and workshops, and generally what's going on.


December Scheduling & New Classes

Group Classes

Gentle Yoga - Hybrid Option - This is the lunchtime class on Mondays from 12:00-12:45pm for everyone! It will be available as an In-Person class held in the yoga room at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness, as a Live Streaming class via Zoom, or for purchase as a recording. Find out more information here and I hope to see you soon. You can purchase a December Monthly Pass for either In-Person or Virtual, or you can always drop-in. If you purchase a Monthly Pass and ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording!

Healthy Living Yoga on Zoom - This class is only being offered ONCE a week this month on Thursdays from 7-8pm with the ease of joining from wherever you may be! You can purchase a December Monthly Pass or you can always drop-in. If you purchase a Monthly Pass and ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording so you never miss out on your yoga class!

Chair Yoga at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness - This class is on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am. Cost is $10 per session. You can pay in-person before class starts, or reserve your spot and pay in advance through the website. Please note: class size is limited to 8 people - first come, first served.

Climb Tulsa - I’m leading the Intro to Yoga class on Mondays at 5:30pm, and the Sunday morning Flow class at 11:00am. Come see me!

TU's Collins Fitness Center - There are a few more classes left before end of semester. Come see me at lunchtime on Thursdays from 12:15-1:00pm for a gentler class, or on Sundays from 4:00-4:45pm for a more intense, faster-paced class.


Purchasing Classes and Passes

If you want to join a class simply choose a class off the class schedule. When you find the class you want click on it, then click "Add to Cart"; you will be redirected to the purchase page for that class. Once you finish checking out on the website you will immediately receive a purchase receipt. And remember - if you ever purchase a virtual or hybrid class and don't log in or make it *for any reason* I automatically send you the recording.

Alexander Technique - Private Lessons on Fridays with Angeline LeLeux - not yoga, but Angeline works with you 1-on-1 to help you experience grace, poise, and moving with ease. Learn more about Alexander Technique and Angeline here.

Coming in the New Year!

How to Use Kinesio-Tape Workshop with Dr. Kvach, D.C. - Join Dr. Kvach on January 14th to learn about how to use Kinesio-Tape more effectively. We will talk about anchors, stretch, placement, and how-to for common taping places. This workshop will go over using K-tape, Rocktape, or any other brand of Kinesio-Tape. Bring any questions you may have!

Early Registration includes a roll of Rocktape for you to take home. Reserve your space here!

Curvy Yoga Workshop with Vicki Hibbert - This 90-minute workshop on January 8th is a great way to dip a toe into curvy yoga before jumping into a full 5-week series. "Kickoff 2023 with a 90-minute yoga workshop designed especially for people in larger bodies. Together we will learn how to adapt yoga poses to work for your unique body. We will also talk about how yoga can put you on the path to body acceptance."

Recorded Flow Class - Every week a new Vinyasa style class will drop on Monday morning at 6am and is available to access all week long. This is a more physically challenging class, and is best for those who are comfortable with many basic postures, and good for the student who wants to work! Focusing on matching breath with movement; where we move with our breath from one pose to the next.

Healthy Living Yoga on Zoom - This class is offered twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8pm with the ease of joining from wherever you may be! You can purchase an November Monthly Pass for either once or twice weekly, or you can always drop-in. If you purchase a Monthly Pass and ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording so you never miss out on your yoga class!

Yoga with Baby - And in case you missed my announcement last week I just released my newest collection of classes to the Library - Yoga with Baby. These classes are for you and the little one in your life, whether you are Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa, Nanny, etc. They are an opportunity for you to move, for the two of you to interact, and it offers a unique bonding experience between you and baby. These classes are close to my heart as I’ve been loving the opportunity to make these with my daughter. Introducing Yoga with Baby Classes!

I’m excited to announce a new collection of classes - Yoga with Baby!

This was born (pun completely intended) out of the necessity (wish?) to get my daughter onto the yoga mat with me as I recovered postpartum and started back to teaching. As I prepared to start back to work it was hard for me to make time for my own practice. But if I brought her with me to the mat we could easily spend anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour moving, having fun, and bonding while I reacquainted myself with my body.

What do the classes entail?

  • Some classes are focused on movement for the adult while interacting with (or wearing) Baby.

  • Some classes are focused on those of us who are postpartum while bonding with Baby.

  • And some classes are focused on movement FOR Baby.

So here’s the plan: as she grows so will these offerings.

Currently all the available classes are geared towards little ones who are pre-crawling, because that’s where my little one is at. As that changes so will the classes.

The thing that I love so much about this collection is that these practices are for you and your little one. They are an opportunity for you to move, for the two of you to interact, and it offers a unique bonding experience between you and baby. (That last bit is my favorite part.) Whether you are Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, nanny, whoever you may be - this is a new way to help baby interact with you and experience movement and the space around them.

I’m so excited about this, and I hope some of you are too! f you have any question or comments let me know through the comment box at the bottom of this page.
