I'd like to start this post by thanking everyone for their support over the past two years. You have shown your support in so many ways - attending classes, checking out the website, 'liking' posts, etc. At the moment we are having a bit of upheaval here at The Doc & The Yogi. We have found out that I (Leta) have to have abdominal surgery. This was not planned or anticipated and it is something that we have been trying to navigate with the doctors very quickly.
As so many of you know, surgery is hard, and exhausting. Some types are preferable to others, but almost none are viewed with happy anticipation. This surgery is not ideal; there a lot of unknowns at this point, and because of that I am currently unsure of a lot of specifics. The doctors expect me to be down for anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks following my surgery this coming Tuesday, February 13th. I will continue to teach my normal schedule through (tomorrow) Monday, February 12th.
Here's what I DO know: I'll be back; and sooner rather than later. While I'm down I'll keep in touch through posts and articles here, and on my Facebook page. My goal is to start back teaching classes March 4, 2018. However, that very well may change based on what happens in surgery. Regardless, I will definitely be posting that information here, Facebook, and sending it out to my mailing lists by class.
Thank you all so much for all of your support, and know that I appreciate you.
- Leta (The Yogi)
